How are you all doing? I want to hear about struggles, success, and answer any questions I can. Holiday parties are coming, try to stay on track. I will be emailing all of you a list of holiday party tips. Weekends are the toughest, hang in there.

Wake up 4am
Teach class at 6am
Breakfast; coffee with skim milk and apple
7am client.

  1. I went to Governor's Restaurant (& Bakery) tonight...the ultimate carb/dessert place! Not only do they offer great fried foods (mozzerella sticks especially), huge slices of homemade pies and cakes, and the wonderfully tasty Jumbo Burger, but they are also the home to a $17.99 Federal Deficit dessert that is equivalent to a banana split, a brownie delight, a strawberry shortcake, plus 6 sundaes!!! I was very proud of myself for ordering a broiled chicken dinner with a baked potato (no sour cream), salad (with dressing on the side) and a large water!! :) My "high calorie" treat/desert was one of their homemade rolls!!!

  2. I have two questions:
    1) what is the best snack to have before one of your evening work outs when I haven't eaten since lunch and am sure I will starve before the end of the class?
    2) can you explain to me how it is possible that I lost two pounds by going to the bathroom (pee)? When I was there Monday to weigh in I ran in and weighed in quickly - I went to the bathroom to pee before finishing my drive home and thought I would weigh myself again to see how much it was - I lost 2#. Am I crazy???
